The ribbon pine forests of the Irtysh region, stretching for hundreds of kilometers, are one of the most unique natural phenomena in Kazakhstan. It is here that the State Forest Nature Reserve "Semey Ormany" is located.

Founded in 2003, the reserve covers more than 657 thousand hectares. Rare plants grow here and animals listed in the Red Book of Kazakhstan inhabit the area. These forests not only delight with their beauty, but also play a crucial role in preserving the climate, soils, and water resources.

"Semey Ormany" is a territory where unique natural complexes, biodiversity, and the invaluable natural heritage of Kazakhstan are preserved for future generations.
