By the Decree of the Head of State dated September 3, 2026, Murat Seitmoldayevich Mukhanov was appointed Minister for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
His professional career in the civil protection bodies began in August 2002. Having completed an exemplary service from a cadet of the departmental Academy to the Chief of Staff of the Ministry for Emergency Situations, Murat Seitmoldayevich accumulated rich managerial experience. Over many years of irreproachable service, he successfully headed key units and structures of the agency, and also served as Deputy Head of the Department for Emergency Situations and Head of the Regional Department for Emergency Situations.
For his high professionalism and significant contribution to the development of the civil protection system, he was awarded the state award — the Order of "Aybyn" (Valor) of the II degree.
