About the Association

A platform for sustainable territorial development

The KenDala Republican Association for Territorial Development was founded to support the sustainable development of Kazakhstan's regions, introduce modern digital solutions and create new opportunities for tourism, entrepreneurship and local communities.

Mission

Technology, nature, business and communities

To bring together government bodies, business, local communities and experts for the sustainable development of Kazakhstan's regions, the preservation of natural and cultural heritage, safer travel and the adoption of modern digital solutions. The Association supports tourism, caravanning, responsible use of natural resources and regional entrepreneurship, creating new economic opportunities for the population and making Kazakhstan more attractive to domestic and international travellers.

01

Domestic and inbound tourism

Developing routes across Kazakhstan's regions and improving service quality: clear descriptions of places, transparent terms and feedback from travellers.

02

Caravanning and road trips

Supporting infrastructure for motorhome and trailer travel — campsites, service points and routes built for long journeys.

03

Digital solutions and mapping

Maps, analytics and artificial intelligence applied to the industry: route navigation, work with open data about territories and presenting it in a form people can use.

04

Travel safety

Informing travellers about weather, seasonal and natural risks along routes, and working to make help on the road available and easy to reach.

05

Environmentally responsible development

Monitoring the state of territories and promoting practices under which growing tourist numbers do not come at the expense of natural and cultural heritage.

06

Regional entrepreneurship

Supporting local business and community participation: access to the platform, shared experience and involving residents in developing the places where they live.

Questions and answers

What to know about KenDala

The answers reflect the project's current confirmed status and are updated along with it.

Is KenDala an app or an organisation?

Both. KenDala is a republican association for territorial development: it brings together government bodies, business, experts and local communities around tourism, digital services and travel safety. The KenDala app is its product for travellers: maps, routes, tours and help on the road.

Where can I download the app?

On the App Store, Google Play and Huawei AppGallery. The “Download” buttons at the top of the page and in the “KenDala app” section lead to the official listings — install the app only from there.

Which features already work?

The map with points of interest and routes, tours with booking, multilingual assistance, the AI assistant with translation and the SOS emergency flow are available in the app. Caravanning — routes and service infrastructure for road travel — is still planned. The current status of every feature is listed in the “App” section.

How do I become a partner or list my services?

In the “Tourism business” and “Partners and government bodies” sections, pick the card that fits and press its button — the enquiry form opens with the topic already selected. Applications are checked before publication: the platform does not list offers without confirming the organisation and its terms.

Where do the information centre articles come from?

Articles are compiled from open official and international sources. KenDala's artificial intelligence handles discovery, topical classification, translation and summarisation, but no external material is published without manual editorial review. Copyright in the source material belongs to its respective owners; a link to the original is provided for the full text.

How much does it cost to list services on the platform?

Terms are agreed individually: they depend on the type of service, the region and the volume. Describe your offer through the enquiry form and we will reply with terms for your case.

What languages is the site available in?

In Russian, English, Kazakh and Chinese — the language is switched in the top bar. Information centre articles appear in all four: the translation is prepared alongside the article, and publication does not go through without it. Legal documents stay in Russian: they are approved by a lawyer, and a translation without the same review would be a different document.
