The 232nd "Auyl Qutqarushylary" voluntary firefighting unit opened in the village of Zhuban Moldagaliyev, Akzhaik District, West Kazakhstan Region. The new fire post will serve two settlements—the village of Zhuban Moldagaliyev itself and the village of Saikudyk—ensuring the safety of more than 1,400 residents.

The solemn opening ceremony was attended by the Head of the Department for Emergency Situations Zhanbolat Zhanshin, Akim of Akzhaik District Murat Serdalin, personnel, residents, and guests of the village.

The post was erected with the support of local executive bodies and is fully equipped for organizing round-the-clock duty. To ensure comfortable service for the personnel, rest rooms, a kitchen, staff offices, and a garage box for housing firefighting equipment are provided. The building is equipped with everything necessary for 24/7 duty: a bay for fire engines, a dispatch room, administrative, and utility premises, including a rest room and a kitchen.

For the full functioning of the unit, the Ministry of Emergency Situations provided it with the necessary equipment, communication tools, and gear. In particular, a fire tanker truck, four sets of firefighter bunker gear, and a radio station were handed over, which will allow for the effective performance of assigned tasks. The commissioning of the facility will increase the speed of response to emergency situations and the effectiveness of preventing natural and steppe fires in rural areas.
