The 233rd voluntary firefighting unit 'Auyl Qutqarushylary' has opened in the village of Bolashak, Kaztalovka District, West Kazakhstan Region. The new fire post will serve 5 settlements—the village of Bolashak itself and the villages of Kopkutir, Zhanatan, Akkuray, and Khayrush—ensuring the safety of more than 1,500 residents.
The solemn opening ceremony was attended by the Head of the Department for Emergency Situations Zhanbolat Zhanshin, Deputy Akim of Kaztalovka District Serik Kayrliev, personnel, residents, and guests of the village.
The post was built with the support of local executive bodies and is fully equipped for organizing round-the-clock duty. The building features a bay for fire equipment, a dispatch room, staff offices, as well as utility rooms, including a break room and a kitchen. All necessary conditions ensure comfortable service for the personnel on a 24/7 basis.
To ensure full-fledged operation, the Ministry of Emergency Situations equipped the unit with the necessary machinery, communication tools, and special gear. A fire tanker truck, a radio station, and four sets of firefighter bunker gear were handed over to the unit, allowing personnel to effectively perform tasks to protect the population and territories from emergency situations.
